Greetings to Hurlburt’s far and wide!!!!

We are thinking of and looking for all of you! Whether you're a married Hurlburt and have another name, whether the Hurlburt name is deep in your family lineage or whether your last name is Hurlburt and you haven't thought about your roots recently, we want to find you. We know you're out there!!!! We are very proud of our reunion efforts. We are among the few families who have kept these kinds of records and events going for so long. This is a precious gift to your children!!! So lend your support by attending. Bring your address book and any family lineage information that may be new to us so that the genealogy can be updated and you can link your family tree to ours.

This year our reunion will be held in the New Haven Congregational church basement. Tours of the nearby 1810 Hurlburt farm ( Parks-Hurlburt Road, Monkton) are available. The farm consists of 1,180 acres which includes maple sugaring acreage(sugar bush), the original farmhouse, two successive homes, and rolling meadows. A great opportunity for all to see and enjoy! Farm produced maple syrup will be available.

Our usual itinerary will be as follows:

Roll call/introduction of new found relatives

Minutes and business from the previous year

Reading of letters from those who could not attend

Lunch: Each family kindly brings a covered dish (salads, casseroles, desserts). Kitchen facilities (oven)

are available for any needed warming.

Attending to new business and suggestions
