Charles Dickens wrote many stories and they were really popular in the nineteenth century and are still popular today. Also, he created a famous character, Oliver Twist. This story talks about a life of a young orphan boy called Oliver Twist. His mother left the world when he was a baby and little Oliver Twist was lonely. He only had a little love in the world. Then he was forced to live in a workhouse lorded over by the awful Mr. Bumble. One day, Oliver Twist made his escape from him to the streets of London. He was alone again. He met a bad man, Fagin. Therefore, he wanted to leave this man. Then he met the kindly Mr. Brownlow. He led Oliver Twist to the promise of a better life. Oliver Twist became a happy boy. He wasn’t an orphan and he wasn’t alone.

I think Oliver Twist is really a brave boy. Although it was difficult for him struggle, he never gave up. He was brave to face some terrible people and problems. This story gives Oliver Twist a happy ending. This is really a heartwarming story.

In some poverty countries, there are many poor children like Oliver Twist. These children find their food in dumping places where store rubbish. That is very squalid. They can’t beg any food and money as their countries are so poor. I think they are very innocent as they didn’t do anything wrong.

In Hong Kong, many children can have a comfortable environment to grow up. However, they still give up their life due to some little problems. I think it is a very bad behavior.

I hope all people in the world won’t give up their life.
