How good it is when God's people gather together! Good Morning and Welcome to St Paul's United Church. Our hope is that you will feel right at home, with a cup of coffee and morning snack, sharing if you can: "How is it in your heart this day?" We each prepare for worship differently, some of us rehearsing, others serving, others visiting, some rushing in at the last minute. What ever your needs are, we rejoice with God that you are with us in this place.
This Sunday we wind up our Money Matters theme, with the celebration of our gifts in community. If it takes a village to raise a child, then it also take the village to support and fund the mission of the church. All of our gifts matter. The text this week comes from I Corinthians13, a well-known scripture during wedding ceremonies. What until you hear what it's really about!
We are committed to one another as disciples and as people of a covenant God - to love and serve one another. Here at St Paul's we have agreed to our shared mission of offering to the world a positive experience of God. In all we do and say and believe, we seek to give a rich life-giving experience of our generous and loving God. So we Sing our Thanksgiving! May it be so!
