Driving Directions to Fort Belvoir Golf Club

Address: 8450 Beulah Street, Fort Belvoir, VA

(Only use GPS to navigate this address once you are on Fort Belvoir.)

From Washington DC (1-95 South)

  • Traveling south on 1-95, take the Fairfax Parkway/Backlick Road (286) Exit 166 A.
  • Take the Fairfax County Parkway to its end at U.S. Rt. 1 (Richmond Highway). Turn left.
  • At the first light, on the right, is the entrance for Tulley Gate. Turn right on to Pohick Rd.

From Richmond (1-95 North)

  • Traveling north on 1-95 North, take the Fort Belvoir Exit 161 B. (U.S. Rt 1 -- Richmond Highway)
  • You will travel five miles to Fort Belvoir.
  • Continue through the light at the Fairfax County Parkway (286). At the next light, on the right side is the entrance for Tulley Gate on to Fort Belvoir. Turn right on to Pohick Rd.

Access to Fort Belvoir, Virginia, at Tulley Gate

  • Tulley Gate is the main entrance to the post for visitors. All visitors WITHOUT a Department of Defense ID card holder driving the vehicle must use Tulley Gate.
  • The Visitor Center issues temporary passes for visitors. The Visitor Center is located at the Tulley Gate security checkpoint. To receive a pass,drivers and passengers must provide a valid state driver's license orfederally recognized photo ID at the Visitor Center.
  • Visitors should ask for a day pass and allow 20-30 minutes for processing.
  • Proceed to the security guard checkpoint and present your day pass and ID’s to the guard.

Directions to Fort Belvoir Golf Club from Tulley Gate

  • After processing through Tulley Gate checkpoint, continue ahead to the Gunston Road intersection (controlled by a signal light.)
  • Make a left onto Gunston and stay on this street to the end (approx. 2-3 miles).
  • Gunston Road ends at a “T” intersection. Make a left at the light on to Kingman Road.
  • Make the first right turn (approx. 200 yds.) at the next light on to Beulah Street.
  • The Golf Clubhouse is on the left at the top of the hill (approx. ¼ mile).

Access to Fort Belvoir, Virginia, at Kingman Gate

  • Kingman Gate is an alternate entrance to the post only for visitorsWITH a Department of Defense ID card holder driving the vehicle.
  • Proceed to the security guard checkpoint and present your ID to the guard. All passengers must present valid state driver's license.
  • After passing through Kingman Gate, turn left at the first light onto Beulah Street.
  • The Golf Clubhouse is on the left at the top of the hill (approx. ¼ mile).
