Dear Parents, 10/24/16

I want to congratulate your child on making Meadow View Elementary’s 2016-17 Academic Derby team! We will begin practice Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016, from 7:30-8:30 AM in room 506 (Miss Humphrey’s classroom). Please make arrangements to have your child at MVES promptly by 7:30 am. You may drop them off at the cafeteria and they can walk down to the room. Attached you will find the “Academic Derby Television and Streaming Release Form 2016-2017”. Please read this document thoroughly and provide the appropriate information in order for your child to participate in the televised matches. The matches will last approximately one hour and will be held at Southwest High School. If you would like to join us in the audience at any of the matches, please send in a note with your child so we will know how many audience members will be in attendance. You will have to stop by the front office at Southwest High School to receive a visitor’s pass before the match begins. We are only allotted a certain number of audience members per team in the “recording room”, so the audience attendance number will be on a first come, first serve basis. The following schedule is a tentative schedule and we will let you know of any changes.
