Job Purpose

Supervising / Contract / Full time permanent subject to satisfactory induction period
Key Responsibilities /
  1. Testing and assessment of SEN using standardised assessment tools
  2. Testing using Computer based tests
  3. Writing of summary reports describing outcomes and implications of SEN testing and assessments
  4. Collating evidence of teaching strategies used and evaluated to support LIFT referrals
  5. Writing of referral documentation for external assessment by SALT
  6. Delivery of small group and individual interventions and support for students with AEN needs
  7. Completing various types of observations for students referred for assessment
  8. Compiling evidence and completion of appendix 2 documentation to support application for assessment for EHCPs
  9. Other duties as reasonably requested by the SENCO
