TheUniversityofNorthernBritishColumbia, inconjunctionwiththeDepartmentofMathematicsandStatistics, invites applicationsforanAssistantProfessorwithananticipatedstartdateofJuly1,2017.Applicantsin AppliedMathematicsarepreferred. The position requiresaPhDdegreeinMathematicsorarelateddisciplineandhighqualityteachingexperience.

Theapplicantwillbeexpectedtosuccessfullyinstructacrossabroadrangeoftheundergraduatemathematics

curriculum;communicateeffectively withstudentsbothinandoutoftheclassroom;andtosupervisestudentsinourMasters’program.Energeticandmotivated,thecandidatewillbeexpectedtobeinvolvedintheUNBCcommunity.
