Sub: - Quotation for supply of -Asian Paints Apex 750 litre aprox. Lime Stone 3200 Kg approx. , fevicol 120 Kg approx. , Blue 150 Kg approx. Distemper 800 litre approx.. Putty 40 bags approx. birla wall care putty 300 kg approx. Oil Paint 750 litre approx. all types of brushes and putty knife & turpentine oil .
1. Sealed quotations for the supply of Asian Paints Apex 750 litre aprox. Lime Stone 3200 Kg approx. , fevicol 120 Kg approx. , Blue 150 Kg approx. Distemper 800 litre approx.. Putty 40 kg approx. Birla wall care putty 300 kg approx. Oil Paint 750 litre approx. are invited by the undersigned up to 3 p.m. on 23 July 2013. Quotation should be sent under strong sealed cover marked as “Quotation for the supply of Asian Paints/ Distemper etc. .and not by name. The quotations will be opened in the office of the undersigned at 2 PM on 26 July 2013.
2. The quotation shall be submitted accordingly to the terms and conditions specified in paragraphs 3 to 14 unless specified otherwise in the quotation, it shall be construed that the terms and conditions stipulated hereunder have been agreed to.
3. .The rates should be F.O.R. and should include excise duty, sales tax, freight charges and any other taxes, rates or imposition whatever liable in respect of the supplies. The Kendriya Vidyalaya ,Ahmedabad Cantt Ahmedabad. shall not be liable to pay any tax, freight etc. which has not been expressly stipulated in the quotation in the event of acceptance of the quotation.
4. There should not be any overwriting or correction in the quotation. If a figure is to be amended, it should be neatly scored out and the revised figure written above and the same must be attested with full signature and date. In the absence of attested signature the quotation is liable to be rejected.
5. The undersigned does not bind himself to accept the lowest quotation and reserves the right to accept the quotation in whole or in part i.e. with respect of all articles mentioned in the attached statement or in respect of any one or more than one articles specified in the attached statement as he may decide.
6. On acceptance of the quotation it will become a contract and the contractor shall be bound by the terms and conditions of the quotation.
7. The person/persons whose quotation is accepted, hereinafter, called the contractor, shall deposit an earnest money of Rs --- in the form of Demand Draft in the name of “KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA ,AHMEDABAD CANTT AHMEDABAD” alongwith the quotation which shall be refunded in the event of rejection of the quotation. The earnest money will be forfeited in the event of failure to comply with the contract. In the event of acceptance of the quotation the earnest money will be adjusted towards Security deposit which shall be payable at the rate mentioned below:
Security deposit at 5% of estimate cost.
8. If the contract is not agreeable to pay security deposit the reasons therefore should be specified and the undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject the request. If the contractor fails to supply the articles, within the time stipulated in the letter of acceptance by the undersigned, the undersigned shall be at liberty to purchase the articles from the market or get the rest of the contract completed by any other person or firm and the difference of price, If any, shall be deducted from the earnest money/Security deposit and in case any amount in excess of the Security deposit is paid by the undersigned, the contractor shall be liable to pay this amount.
9. The quantity of articles indicated at as below of this letter may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the undersigned without assigning any reason.
10. A Demo of item is to be given at the convenient time, before supply of item.
11. In the event of acceptance of the quotation and placing of the order for purchase, the articles ordered for would be subjected to an inspection by the undersigned or his representative and are liable to be rejected if the articles supplied are not according to approved samples or do not conform to the specifications prescribed
12. The rates quoted by the contractor shall hold good up to 31.3.2014. No amendment in the rate except increase in the rate of Sale Tax or Service Tax, if applicable during the period of execution of the contract will be accepted.
13. Copy of sale tax registration certificate with state Govt./ Central Govt. and a copy of current Income Tax return should invariably be submitted alongwith the quotation.
14. Quotations which do not comply with the above conditions are liable to be rejected.
15. These instructions to be tendered are to be signed by the contractors and returned with the tender.

Sub :- Quotation for Colour wash : two storey building interior and exterior : Rate per square foot without material of color wash ( double coat ), of exterior paint , interior paint distemperin about 61 rooms , corridors , lobbies and wooden doors , windows and iron grills.
1. Sealed quotations for as above in the subject are invited by the undersigned up to 3 pm on 23 -7- 2013 . Quotation should be sent under strong sealed cover marked as “Quotation for the Color wash etc” and not by name. The quotations will be opened in the office of the undersigned at 2 pm on 26-7-2013.
2. The quotations shall be submitted accordingly to the terms and conditions specified in paragraphs 3 to 18 unless specified otherwise in the quotations , it shall be construed that the terms and conditions stipulated hereunder have been agreed to.
3. The rates should inclusive of any tax applicable on this work and Kendriya Vidyalaya Cantt Ahmedabad shall not be liable to pay any tax , which has not been expressly stipulated in the quotations in the event od acceptance of the quotations.

If the contract is fails to complete the work within the time stipulated in the letter acceptance by the undersigned, the undersigned shall be at liberty to get the rest of the contract completed by any other person or firm and the difference of price, If any, shall be deducted from the earnest money /security deposit and in case any amount in excess of the security deposit is paid by the undersigned, the contractor shall be liable to pay this amount.
9. The quality of paint work area indicated at as below of this letter may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the undersigned without assigning any reason .
10. The rate should be inclusive of work of cleaning of dust ,dirt , scrapping and scrubbing of loose flakes of old paint cement etc.
11. In the event of acceptance of the quotation and placing of the order for work , the work completion would be subjected to an inspection by the undersigned or his representative or monitoring committee and is liable to be rejected if it does not conform to the desired quality and the payment will not be made till the defects pointed out are corrected / removed.
12. The rates quoted by the contractor shall hold good up to 31.03.2014 . No amendment in the rate except increase in the rate of service Tax , if applicable , during the period of execution of the contract will be accepted .
13. Reputed dealer to submit the quotation . copy of registration of service tax and a copy of the latest filed Income Tax return should invariably be submitted along with the quotation.
14. Income Tax , applicable as per rule , for this contract % would be deducted at source.
15. The undersigned reserved the right to cancel the execution of whole or part of the work after even finalization of the tendering process and also till the work contract is awarded , without assigning any reason.
16. The colour wash work must be completed within two months after after placing work order. .
17. Quotation which do not comply with the above condition are liable to be rejected .
18. These instruction to be tendered are to be signed by the contractor and returned with the tender.
Specification of work :
1) Exterior paint two storey building Apex Area approx. 28240 sq feet.
2) Interior white wash with touching work for 61 class rooms & Girls & Boys toilets. Area approx. . 105484 sq. ft
3) Interior Corridor lobby , staircase :Removing of white wash & 2 coats of putty work & distemper to the wall Area aprrox : 26800 sq.ft
4) Oil Paint Wooden doors, window grills , Cuboard Doors , ventilation , collapsible shutter Area 27650 sq ft.
Rates required per sq. feet without material only .
