BIG CO-OP CLEAN COMES TO CHORLTON

CHORLTONresidents are being invited to join Unicorn Grocerystaff and customers on Saturday, July 4to spruce up a section of the Fallowfield Loop.

The Big Co-op Clean event is part of a national campaign, with thousands of co-op members demonstrating the power of working together in clean-up operations up and down the country.

XXXX XXXX, of Unicorn Grocerysaid: “We want to encourage as many people as possible to come down. Together we can have a really positive impact on the environment in which we operate – and we’ll be providing free food and drink to all those who takes part!

“There’s a serious aspect to making a positive difference. But we also want to make it a fun event, and also explain to people why we are doing this – and what being a co-operative business is all about.”

The Big Co-op Clean is part of Co-operatives Fortnight (20 June to 4 July), an annual awareness campaign to help people become more familiar with co-operatives in their local area.
