Introduction

The post is a Facilities Assistant, previously known as Caretakers. The successful candidate will be based at Greenhill Court, site office covering deck access blocks accommodating 174 South Lanarkshire Council tenancies.

Duties include the monitoring of the CCTV system and door entry system, undertake the cleaning of common areas in accordance with onsite cleaning rota. Undertake H&S inspections of every block. Identify and report any repairs issues and faults. Identify any breaches of resident’s responsibilities and report any issues to the relevant housing officer. Maintain accurate records on the daily sheets and communication book and fire log books.

The post operates on a shift system with 4 days on 4 days off, 12 hour shifts from 8pm until 8 am.
