Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promotion is called“Tell us your renewal date to win
  2. Information on how to participate in the Promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of eligibility. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of eligibility.
  3. The Promotion Period commences at 9:00 am on 15thJuly 2016 and closes at 5.00 pm on30th September 2016.
  4. Eligibility to the promotion is for WECU members only.
  5. The prizes will be credited to the WECU member’s account using the information provided in the contact information form.
  6. The Promoter is QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited, 2 Park Street Sydney NSW 2000, ABN 78 003 191 035 AFS Licence 239545. The insurance products and services offered as part of the Woolworths Employees Credit Union range are issued by the Promoter. Woolworths Employees Credit Union Limited, ABN 67 087 651 803, AFSL Australian Credit License 24072.
  7. Entry into the prize draw is gained by a person:

Filling out the WECU Credit Union entry form which is located at complete with the members renewal details, to obtain a newHome Cover, Home Cover Prestige, Landlords, or Motor Vehiclequote during the Promotion Period which will entitle the member to go in the draw to win 1 of 3 $1,000cash prizes.
  9. A person can only be entered to the Promotion one time by satisfying the entry requirements.
  10. The prize draw will be conducted at 10:30am on the 10th October 2016 at WECU 522-550 Wellington Rd, Mulgrave Vic 3170.
  11. The winning tickets will be randomly drawn from a Computer selection.
  12. The winning entrants will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the prize draw.
  13. The prize must be claimed by the winning entrant within three months of the prize draw date otherwise a redraw will be conducted at 12pm EST on 31st January 2017 at QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited, Level 3/628 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
  14. The redraw winning entrant will be notified by telephone and mail within 2 days of the prize draw
  15. The prize is non-transferrable.
  16. Persons under 18 years of age are ineligible for the Promotion.
  17. The submission of contact information for call back to the WECU Customer for aWECUHome Cover, Home Cover Prestige, Landlords Cover or Motor Vehicle quote during the Promotion Period entitles the customer to go in the draw for a 1 in 3 chance of a $1,000cash prizes.
  18. Normal underwriting terms, conditions and acceptance criteria apply. To decide if an WECU quote is appropriate, members should carefully read the respective Product Disclosure Statement which is available at or by calling 1300 665 553.
  19. The determination of valid participation is at the sole and exclusive discretion of the Promoter.
  20. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. Cash prizes are not transferable.
  22. The Promoter is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or data storage device or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entry whether due to error, interruption to electricity supply or transmission of data, or otherwise.
  23. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost or misdirected mail.
  24. Entry details, including personal information provided by the customer, remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects customers’ personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and provide its services. It is a condition of this offer that this information is provided. By entering the Promotion the customer agrees that the Promoter may use this information for future marketing purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the member.
