TEHACHAPI BARRACUDAS “Tootsie Pop”

INVITATIONAL SWIM MEET

The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District’s Barracudas Swim Team invites you to come up to the “Land of Four Seasons”, fresh mountain air and acres of Tootsie Pops for a day of fun and competition!

DATE: Saturday June 5, 2004

LOCATION: Dye Natatorium, 400-B Snyder Street, Tehachapi

TEAMS: ALL TEAMS

TIME: Warm-ups (10yrs. and under) 8:00 – 8:45. Everyone else is 8:45-9:15

9:30AM Meet Begins

COURSE: 25 yards; 6 Lanes Indoor Facility.

CHECK-IN: Deck seeded according to entry time using a Master check-in system. Swimmers in the first four events must check-in by 9:00 AM. Swimmers in later events must check-in 60 minutes prior to the estimated start of each event.

RULES: 1. US Swimming Rules will be followed.

2. Swimmers must compete in their own age group. Age on June 5th, 2004, determines age group for swimmers.

3. All events are timed finals.

ENTRIES: 1. Swimmers may enter up to a total 3 individual events plus 1 relay.

2. Relays will be deck seeded

3. Team entries deadline: If mailing, get your entries delivered by Wednesday May 26, 2004

ENTRY FEES: $2.00 per-event, per-swimmer and $5.00 per-relay

AWARDS: Medals will be awarded 1st through 3rd place, and ribbons 4th through 12th Awards will be broken down by age and will be given to boys and girls in the following age groups: 6 & under, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 1518.

Tootsie Pops will be given to heat winners!!!
