Technical Solutions Analyst

  1. Organisational Relationships

Reporting to:

Solutions Programme Manager

Liaises With:

Business Directors, Business Managers, Business Consultants, Delivery Managers, Project Managers, IT Support, Development Resources, Resource Manager, Clients, Partners, Suppliers.

  1. Role Summary

Reporting to the Solutions Manager, the Technical Solutions Analyst will primarily be responsible for deliveringto clients in accordance with agreed project plans in a cost effective and timely manner to agreed quality standards.

3.Main Duties

  • Analysis of business requirements in order to propose business solutions including but not limited to Business Process Reviews, Data Capture, Maintenance and Integration, Change Management and Project Management.
  • Deliver projects to agreed gross margin level in accordance with client expectation to agreed plan timescales.
  • Preparation and presentation of business case documentation.
  • Preparation of business case documentation, functional specifications, process mapping, report writing and presentational material as required.
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge on initiatives and legislation appropriate to the Business Analyst role.
  • When requested, assist in the writing of proposals for new work and in the development of new service offerings.
  • Act as an interface between the client and the business.
  • Work closely with the team in driving forward the solution to enable the business to meet its 5 year business plan.
  • Manage and build relationships with clients, partners and suppliers.
  • Evaluating and making recommendations for new technologies and platforms in response to business needs.
  • Ability to assign and implement variety of technologiesincluding web, portal and workflow exposure.
  • Produce solution recommendations, designs and implementation plans
  • Support development and service desk teams in issue resolution

  • The holder of a current driving licence accepted in the UK, able to travel and on occasions, stay away on business.
  • Able to work flexible hours necessary to achieve the varying requirements of the business
