1.Race Format

Racer will compete in teams of two in the following categories：1）all male；2）all female；3）mixed；4）combined age over 100；and 5）R.O.C. Nat’l Team. Winners will be judged based on cumulative time over the two days event. Entry will be limited to 100 teams consisting of two members each. Entry will be on a first come first served basis. Registration forms and payment will be accepted till 8 April 2004.

2. Everyone wishing to participate must submit biographical data of prior outdoor/race experience. The Race Organizer reserves the right to turn away any would be participant deemed to be unfit or insufficiently experienced. At a minimum, each participant is expected to be able to swim 500 meters, perform simple mountain bike repairs on the trail and have abseiling experience. Participants must be at least 18 years of age by 9 April 2004.

3.Race Safety (Participant's Responsibility)

＊  Every competitor is responsible for his/her involvement in the race and is the sole judge of whether he/she should begin or continue competing in the race. However, the Race Organizer reserves the right to prohibit a competitor from starting or continuing the race.

＊  Participants must ensure that they are well-rested prior to the race and well-hydrated during the race.

＊  Participants must supply their own safety helmets, harnesses, locking carabiners, climbing slings and rope descending devices for the race. Participants are expected to know how to use them and to insure that all equipment is in good condition.

＊  If a participant feels unwell during the race, they must stop and ask for medical attention from the support crews along the race route.

＊  All participants are strongly encouraged to have their own primary medical insurance.

4..Cost ：TWD 4,300, HK$1,000, (or US$130) per person.

6.Terms and conditions ＊Once application is successful, participants will be notified by mail. Applications will be refunded for race cancellation, but not for postponement due to circumstances beyond the control of the organizers. No application fee will be refunded for postponement.＊All applicants with heart disease, high blood pressure﹐ or other chronic diseases should not join in the race.＊Organizers reserve the right to adjust race rules﹐route and to reject any application.＊Under adverse weather conditions or other incidents not controllable by the organizers, the organizers reserve the right to change the race dates.
