Instructional Strategies: How will I teach it
Include grouping:
Sm gp, pairs, individual, whole group / Students will be given their weekly homework bookmarks and spelling words 2- long vowel digraphs. Students will be assigned their RWN homework pages 66 and 71.
Students will complete vocabulary chapters 6-10.
Students will begin class with 10 minutes AR time.
Students will then read chapters 6-7 in “Island of the Blue Dolphins” pgs. 30-40 / Students will be introduced to Rhyme Scheme and Internal Rhyming. They will practice in pairs. A rhyme scheme Exit Slip will be used to check for understanding.

Students who have completed all work for the week and AR goal for the week will be allowed to participate in FF activities.
