TEAAS 5.05.0000 Release Notes

  1. Update Fiche Report indicator to display Milepost Assumption. Add a column to Fiche Report and Fiche Summary Report (generated from Intersection Analysis Report and Strip Analysis Report) indicating whether the system made an assumption while mileposting the crash. The Milepost Assumption will be set to “Y” if an assumption was made (Milepost Quality of Plot is 2 or 8) or else a blank would be displayed.
  2. Intersection Analysis Report "Save As" button was not activating after Save. This has been corrected.
  3. In Intersection Analysis and Strip Analysis Reports, the Yearly Totals Summary table will display zeros if there are no crashes in a specific year. This lets the user know the years involved in the study without looking at Study Criteria.
  4. The City and CountyReports, Accident Type and Violations Report did not count the Accident Types correctly for Pedestrians, PedalCyclist, etc. The "Total No Injuries" were sometimes negative. This has been corrected.
  5. Clean up all periods and multiple spaces in Accident Location On Road, From Road, and Toward Road fields, and automate the process for future entries. This enhancement would benefit users by increasing the number of mileposted crashes.
  6. Adjust the business rules for mileposting crashes as follows:
  • If a crash does not have a direction, but has either a non-loop toward road present or has a toward road that is a loop (but both legs are on one side of the Reference Road), then use the toward road to milepost the crash rather than milepost the crash at the intersection.
  • Ensure that the mileposting performs properly when a route occurs multiple times within a county.
  1. Adjust the business rules for mileposting ordinances as follows: Ordinances will only milepostif they meet the criteria for a unique location.
  2. Remilepost all the accidents and ordinances to adhere to the new mileposting business rules.
  3. Inventoried Route modification should correctly verify the route end points, when the inventoried route occurs more than once in the same County.
  4. Updated TEAAS website contact information.
  5. Installer changes:
  • TEAAS Client operates in NC DOT Windows XP SP3 Standard workstation.
  • Installation location of the TEAAS Client has been changed from C:\TEAAS to C:\Program Files\NCDOT\TEAAS.
