CLOSING DATE AND DRAWING
In accordance with AKC Regulations, entries in this tracking test will be accepted up until the official closing date, even though the advertised entry limit has been reached. Preference will be given to Specialty Breed (Golden Retrievers) without a title. If tracks do not fill with Specialty breed other breeds without a title will be the next preference.
A drawing will be held at the home of the test secretary, Michelle Kolb, 20775 Rand Ct., Palatine, IL 60074 on October 2nd at 7:00 p.m. to determine which entries will participate in the test.
This drawing, conducted by the test secretary, shall be completely at random from among the entries received. When the advertised limit has been drawn, all remaining entries shall be similarly drawn and assigned a position on the alternate list, subject to the same preferences set forth above.
All entrants drawn to participate in the tests and the first three alternates for each test will be notified by telephone with the results of the draw. Upon such notification, alternates shall have the option to accept or decline the opportunity to participate in the test. All entrants will be advised by mail with draw number and directions to the site. In the event an accepted entry cancels after the closing of entries, the test secretary shall contact alternates in the order of their placement on the alternate list. No entry fee will be refunded except that of an alternate who does not participate in the test. Exception: In the event that an accepted entry withdraws from the test and an alternate replaces that entry, refund will be made to the withdrawn entry. Non-participating alternates' fees will be returned within one week after the test.
In the event an accepted entry is absent on the day of the test, it shall be the responsibility of the test secretary to determine if alternates are present and to determine, by their position on the alternate list, which of the alternates will participate.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of extreme weather conditions the Club may take such action as necessary to protect the health and safety of the dogs, handlers and judges, including postponement or cancellation of the test.
