Tasha Dunham Memorial Scholarship
Purpose: To provide financial assistance for college/graduate students either diagnosed with a developmental disability or pursuing higher education to better the lives of those with such disabilities.
Award: Will be determined based on the individual’s application and current funds available.
Eligibility: Individuals must meet the following criteria:
* Accepted to an institute of post-secondary or graduate education.
* Either be diagnosed with a developmental disability or are pursuing a higher education in order to obtain a career in the field of improving the lives of individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability.
* Preference given to residents of Maine.
- With acceptance of a Tasha Dunham Memorial Scholarship the recipient agrees to allow the TDMS committee to use their name, photo, and story in future publications (such as, but not limited to, website and fliers).
Requirements:
· Application form along with accompanying essay
· Two letters of recommendation
· Official transcripts (high school and/or college)
· Resume
Please send all materials listed to the address at the bottom of this form by July 1, 2014. Awards are given by August 1, 2014.
An interview may be requested.
