With the Toronto International Marathon fast approaching, our Relay Team members are gearing up for the big event, to be held on Sunday, October 18th!!! To date, over $1000 has been submitted for the Escarpment Campaign, with monies still coming in.

We'll use the Main Trail and two side trails to explore the wonderful views in this area. Fall colours should be at their peak. Some fairly challenging hills but worth the effort.

Saturday, October 17, Car hike Level II/III - Caledon Hills, Hockley Valley (Map 18)
LENGTH OF HIKE / PACE / TERRAIN
24 km / 4.5 km/hr / Hilly, Variable
No dropouts, Hiking boots, No dogs, bring sunscreen, lunch, and plenty of drinking water.
Depart 9 am, Bruce Trail parking lot on Hockley Rd, just past 2nd Line EHS at km 60.3.
Take Hwy 10 north of Orangeville, turn right on Dufferin Rd 7, Hockley Rd, for 4 kilometres.

A loop hike, we will include the Snell Loop Side Trail, the Hockley Heights Side Trail, and the Peter Beecham Side trail, all linked together by the Main Trail through the Hockley Valley Provincial Nature Reserve.
