Note: Expression stability and ranking of eleven candidate reference genes by M values of geNorm and stability values of NormFinder in five tissue groups (a and b), five hormone groups (c and d), six environmental factor groups (e and f), and three other groups (g and h). Reference genes might be more stable with lower M values of geNorm and stability values of NormFinder. Reference gene (showed in gray color) with M values above the threshold of 1.5 would show great variation and not be considered for normalization. Average M values (geNorm) and average stability values (NormFinder) of 11 candidate reference genes were calculated for each group.
