Under a captain by the name of Reubin Randolph. And under General Firman, that said Thomas F. Randolph served two tours thinks the first tour was in the fall or winter of 1776, or in the forepart of the year 1777. Cannot reflect particularly about the length of time thinks it might be two months. That the most time of servis by the said Randolph was from March or April 1777 to March or April 1779. That the servis the whole time under the command of the same captain thinks the said Thomas F. That this deponent was a part of the time in the servis with said Randolph that this deponent was considerable younger than said Randolph and did not go into the army so soon as he did. This deponent further saith that the said Thomas F. Randolph was once taken prisoner by the enemy. That the said Randolph was in several battles with the scouting parties of the enemy. That the said Randolph was in the battle at the time that oone Linus Pangburn and one Sylvester Tilton were killed. As that was the time the said Randolph was taken prisoner, as this deponent further said that the said Randolph was stationed a part of the time at or near a place called Toms River and a part of the time near a place called Mana Hawkin, saw him frequently in the army when this deponent was not in the servis.

That the said Randolph served the last tour two years as this deponent believes according to the last of his Recollection and as this deponent understood at the time, that after the war the said Thomas F.
