Tickets purchased can be posted for a fee of £1 or collected from either The Brook Theatre or The Central Theatre in Chatham at any point during normal box office opening hours. Alternatively, you can collect your tickets, from 3.00pm onwards, from the box office at Rochester Castle Gardens ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT ONLY.

Sweeps Concerts Standard Terms and Conditions (Medway Council is the prime organiser of the Sweeps Concerts and ‘Venue Management’ is on behalf of Medway Council).

  1. Any persons attending the Sweeps Concerts must have a valid ticket, including children and babies.
  2. Management of the venue reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to the venue.
  3. Management of the venue reserves the right to request that ticket holders leave the venue at any time on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right. By way of example, venue management may remove a ticket holder who:
  4. has behaved in the venue in a manner which, in the reasonable opinion of venue management has, or is likely to, affect the enjoyment of other visitors; or
  5. uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or
  6. in the reasonable opinion of venue management, is acting under the undue influence of alcohol or drugs; or
  7. fails, when required, to produce proof of identity or age (as or when appropriate).

All persons must comply with instructions and directions given by venue staff and stewards. No refunds will be given to ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their own behaviour as suggested in, but not limited to, the examples above.

  1. By purchasing a ticket to the Sweeps Concerts you consent, as a member of the audience, to all official filming, sound recording and photography and that such material may be used for commercial or non-commercial use by Medway Council or its partners.
  2. Medway Council will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of personal belongings, other than that caused as a result of negligence by the venue or its staff.
  3. Where reasonably necessary, Medway Council reserves the right to make alterations to the programme.
  4. Venue management reserve the right to search all persons on entry to the venue.
  5. The use of all photographic, visual and audio recording equipment (unless authorised in writing by Medway Council) is prohibited within the venue.
  6. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless the performance is cancelled or re-scheduled other than in cases of ‘Force Majeure’. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘Force Majeure’ means any cause beyond the Council’s control including, without limitation, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defence requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments. Medway Council will not be liable for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by ‘Force Majeure’.
  7. Medway Council will not be liable for any personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the event.
  8. No alcohol will be allowed into the venue. Glass items are strictly prohibited and bag searches may be carried out.
  9. Reasonably sized collapsible chairs will be allowed into the venue. Tables of any sort will not be permitted.
  10. The following items are prohibited from being brought into the venue;
  11. animals (with the exception of guide dogs)
  12. tents, gazebos or/and any other structure
  13. laser pens
  14. glass items
  15. alcohol
  16. illegal substances
  17. naked flame items such as barbecues, flaming torches or candles
  18. any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon including sharp or pointed objects (e.g. knives)
  19. any item in the absolute discretion of the management, which are considered to be a risk to the safety of the audience.These conditions of issue are governed by English Law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Court.
