The Swanley DFC Forum’s area is the 15 Northern Parishes of Sevenoaks District. Many of our members are also concerned with the areas of nearby DFC Forums and national matters – hence the seemingly wide coverage.

2014-2015 /
  • Work with Public Health England and the Alzheimer’s Society to ensure thatby March 2015 one million people become dementia friends as part of the dementia movement.
  • Work with NHS England to meet the ambition that by March 2015 two-thirdsof people with dementia receive a diagnosis and appropriate post-diagnosis support.
  • Work with the Alzheimer’s Society to ensure that 75 Dementia Friendly Communities are signed up to the foundation stage recognition process by March 2015.
  • Publish a National Audit of Antipsychotic prescribing.
  • Influence the United States to ensure a successful Final Legacy Event to review progress against the commitments and actions identified in the G8
