Join the ASEAN Plus Three Youth Environment Forum (AYEF) 2016for an exciting opportunity tomeet like-minded youth from Southeast Asia, China, Korea and Japan, and learn how you can contribute to the environment through informative hands-on workshops, experiential trails and insightful field trips!
The AYEF 2016 is a 3-day eventwhich will be held in Singapore from 8 to 10 April 2016. AYEF 2016 aims to encourage the youth in ASEAN to think of their ideal future environment, make a plan and take action to make the changes required. The theme of AYEF 2016, “Imagine, Create, Change”, acknowledges that youths play an important role in shaping ASEAN regional cooperation in the years ahead, and creating Environmentally Sustainable Cities (ESC) in ASEAN.
Through the event, youth delegates will be able to
- build knowledge and skills
- expand networks and exchange ideas with other youths from Singapore and the region on environmental sustainability
- develop, present and obtain feedback on their project proposals
Criteria
- Between 15 to 25 years old when AYEF 2016 is held
- Singaporean Citizenor Permanent Resident
- Creative and possessleadership qualities
- Actively involved in environment-related activities or projects
- Able to participate actively in discussionsand deliver presentations
