1. National Recycling Month
Art Awards – Rod had recycling as his theme – and did recycling sculptures in classes / GEMS –make up recycling signs and a Recycling Centre this week.
Badge making machine / Kerry – for 2015
Recycling Bingo game – DD – waste of paper / DD – conduct a waste audit during Morning Meeting next week
House litter pick up - bit of resistance / DD – try to organise from next week on.
Education Officer YRC / Rose - DD had Envirocom 97035227
Screen printing / Rose and DD - maybe print Tshirts for GEMs in Activities Week?
Rose and DD discussed National recycling Week (next week) –Nude Food one day next week

Houses in charge of litter
Nude Food day / DD – get students to organise Nude Food day next week.
2. Resource Smart
Sustainability Blog DD found out we have one on the Sustainability Hub / DD – to give Rose the user name and password
School website – Rose succeed in embedding SunSkool data / Well done
Mater Christi workshop – DD did some more work on Core unit.
We have only 6 items to go to complete the unit but needs to be done this week.
Enter bills – CaLM students to help
Ecological Footprint – class to do and produce a report
Curriculum Review – done last year at staff PD and found recently
Sustainability Web Page – fill it with items
Learning story – some written work from students about any project we have done
School Settings – Biodiversity audits and transport / DD – oversee the bills are entered, see if Andrew or some other teacher wants to do the Ecological footprint with their class, type up Curriculum Overview and enter onto Resource Smart website, get info to Rose for website, get Forest classroom items for Sustainability Blog on Hub, enter biodiversity data, and transport estimates
Rose – get Sustainability page up and running, ask Barnaby to write up Forest Classroom and get videos/photos from Andrew to go on Sustainability page
Help from others for these tasks would be greatly appreciated
3. Energy Grant – Have got one quote from Ian, David came in last week and he seems more keen. Told us about how we can get a load from PlanetSavers to do the whole job and then the savings from the energy efficiency work pays off the loan. / DD – get more details
4. Communities for Nature grant – we have ordered 450 plants for next year from Ribbons of Green. Works on the track and gate will start next week when DD gets the list of materials to purchase from Paul Orange. CaLM students to help build.
