Carley-Unemployment Book Survey

Survey for the book, “Unemployed on the Autism Spectrum”

The following is a survey for Michael John Carley’s upcoming book, tentatively titled, “Unemployed on the Autism Spectrum: How to Cope Productively with the Effects of Unemployment and Jobhunt with Confidence.

Carley’s last book, Asperger’s From the Inside-Out,… benefit enormously from having a multitude of differentiating experiences portrayed, and he feels that such diversity is imperative to any book of this kind.

Please put your answers in Bold

By taking this survey I acknowledge that I am unemployed or have been through a period of unemployment, that I am diagnosed on the autism spectrum (with either autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, or Pervasive Developmental Disorder—self diagnosed is ok), and that I understand that I will not be paid for my contributions.*

• I understand and agree (this must be in bold for your answers or statements to be considered)

By taking this survey I acknowledge that the collected results from questions 1-10 may appear in Michael John Carley’s upcoming book on processing unemployment. Furthermore, should I choose to answer any of the questions 11-15 requiring written responses, that what I write therein may be quoted in the book. I understand that at the top of the survey will be an option for me to be quoted anonymously should I not wish for my name to accompany any quotes that might appear in the book; and that if I provide my name it means that Michael John Carley may quote me by name.
