A teenager...never married...a virgin
Do you think she was nervous?
Was she unsure of her own abilities?
Do you think she was anxious?
What did she surrender?
Her will...her life
What did she sacrifice?
Everything
The only way that Mary would be able to never waiver in her
commitment to the Lord is to be completely surrendered to the call on
her life.
God has a wonderful, terrifying, and miraculous plan for your life.
There is only one way to face it...Surrender and Self-sacrifice...to the
glory of God

Confidence and Concern - John 2:1-5; Matt 12:46-50
Its really in these passages that we see that like all mothers, Mary was
not perfect.
But also like all mothers...they exhibit confidence in their children and
concern for their children.
This is the place where the struggle to trust our children with the Lord
is most real and evident.
Mary was not perfect...but demonstrated Confidence and Concern...butthat confidence andconcern must recognize God's sovereignty and perfect plan.

Think of all the memories that must have flooded her mind
The truth of Simeon's prophesy at Jesus birth was fulfilled
Some mothers are called by God to hold their children as they both
come into this world andleave this world.
Through the victories...through the pains...on the mountain tops...in the valleys...alwayspassionate for her children....always persevering in love...
