Risk Analyst

Job Purpose (Job Summary): The Risk & Insurance Analyst is responsible supporting Invesco’s corporate risk management and insurance programs. This position is responsible for providing corporate risk and insurance related reporting, analytics and insights and works on special projects as beneficial/needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the Corporate Risk Management Committee (CRMC)

  • Coordination ofthe annual risk assessment process, risk forum and related reporting
  • Preparation and support for the CRMC meetings including gathering risk-related reporting
  • CRMC Charter and policy maintenance
  • Key risk indicator reporting, analysis and follow-up
  • RFP risk related responses and regulatory updates as requested by the business
  • Corporate risk initiatives/projects and ad-hoc risk analysis as needed

Support the Corporate Insurance Programs
  • Responsible for maintaining insurance summaries and the corporate insurance database.
  • Tracks the certificates of insurance program for internal requests, and outside vendors.
  • Assists with the oversight and support of claims and litigation for which the Company has insurance coverage or a deductible.
  • Creates ad-hoc analysis around internal and external loss exposures.
  • Supports special projects as assigned
  • Insurance renewal process support including:
  • Preparing the data for completion of applications for policy renewals, including professional liability, property and casualty, cyber/network security and the North American Funds blended coverage.
  • Coordinating the allocation of insurance premiums on a global basis.
  • Analyzing peer and market information.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • 3 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with compiling and analyzing data from a variety of sources
  • Experience analyzing information and determining appropriate risk factors
  • Previous experience in financial analysis or accounting would be an asset
  • Advanced proficiency with certain PC applications (Microsoft Excel/ PowerPoint), including knowledge, development and use of vlookups, pivot tables, etc.

Formal Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, risk managementor related field; or equivalent work experience

License / Registration / Certification:

  • Risk certifications/courses a plus.
