Seminar on New Trademark Law in Mainland China

The newly amended Trademark Law of the People’s Republic of China took effect on 1 May 2014. Itfurther enhances the protection of intellectual property rights in the Mainland and provides ample brand development opportunities. The Intellectual Property Department has invited representatives from the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and the Trademark Management Division of the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce to introduce the details of the new trademark law,and explore itsimpact on local business enterprises to strengthen their protection and management of trademarks.
