Sun City Festival Lady Putters
STANDING RULES
1.Annual renewal dues shall be twenty dollars ($20) for play from Januarythrough Decemberand are payable by January 15th.New members’registration feesfrom January through December are sixty-five dollars ($65), which includes one year’s membership, shirt, apron andnametag.
2. Cost to putt weekly is$4.00 (one-dollar bills)collected at time of sign-in. Hole–in-ones are paid out at $2.00 per hole.
3. Our official Lady Putters’ attire is a SCF Lady Putters’ monogrammed Polo shirt and your choice of white,black or khaki shorts, slacks, skirt or skort. Footwear isrequired on the green. No substitute Polo shirt can be worn in place of the official Polo shirt. The official Polo shirt is MANDATORY from November 1stuntil April 1st. During summer play beginning APRIL 1st, a cooler shirt of your choice may be worn.
4. Resident guests of members may putt free only one time before joining Lady Putters, however, they will not be eligible for any prize, including holes-in-one. Non-resident guests of members are welcome to putt free one time only, but will not be eligible for any prize, including holes-in-one.
5. A birdie pin will be awarded for any 3, 4 and or 5 holes-in-onemade in one day. A large birdie pin will be awarded for every 5 holes-in-one made over time.There will be carry over of holes-in-one into the next season. You can exchange 5 large birdie pins for 1 special large pin for a total of 25 hole-in-ones.
6. New members must pay a weekly fee and putt 5 games to establish a handicap. Handicaps are computerized.
7. The Elections Committee will notify the Membership of the need for candidates fifteen days prior to the beginning of September. The Elections Committee will post a slate of candidates by the second full week ofSeptember.Elections will be held electronically for a period of 2 weeks following the posting. Results will be announced at the Fall Membership Meeting.Elected Officers will assume office the first week of January.
8. Annual dues and other fees charged to members and guests shall be recommended by the Executive Board at the March meeting and shall become effective after a vote of the Membership to approve them.
9. Elected officials and Members who do not fulfill their responsibilities or fail to act in accordance with the By-Laws and Standing Rules, and those who are abusive, project an undesirable or inappropriate image, or who unnecessarily and blatantly create turmoil, disruption and dissension among Club members, other Clubs or the Association in general, will have their Club membership suspended by the Executive Board.
- First offense – a written warning from the Executive Board
- Second offense – a short term suspension by the Executive Board
- Third offense – a longer term suspension by the Executive Board
- Fourth offense – termination of membership by the Executive Board
10. The elected officers of the Club will include:
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Directors (one for each putting session)
11.Play time will be set by the Director of the day for each session. It will be to the discretion of the Director for the day as to putt or cancel the session due to extenuating circumstances. There will be no putting on the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas or during golf course over seed and maintenance.
12. There will be two (2) General Membership meetings during the putting season unless decided otherwise by the Executive Board.
13. In addition to these standing rules, we will abide by the Sun City Festival Lady Putter By-laws as revised from time to time by the Sun City Festival Lady Putter General Membership.
