Venue:The GlenfirSchool– 7808Pierre, Summerland

General Camp Info:The camp will be designed to improve technical and tactical skills in all three weapons. Development of physical and mental skills will be a key component of the camp. Each participant will receive private lessons from the coaches. All skill levels are welcome; the training will be tailored to the needs of the participants.

Accommodations:We will be staying at CampBoyle (15 km. West of Summerland), you will need sleeping bag and pad (you will be sleeping on bunks). Camping is also an option if you bring your own tent. We will all work together to cook our food.

Fees:$400.00

These fees include instruction, accommodation, and meals

Camping only:people who would like to camp at the site but not participate in the fencing:

$150.00 (camp only)$250.00 (breakfast and supper included)

Fees due June 21st, 2007: a $100.00 late payment fee will be charged to any late registrations.

Drop off: Participants can be dropped off on July 22nd between 13:00 and 14:00, at the school.

Pick up: Participants must be picked up between 11:00 and 12:00, at the school.

CampStaff will help with the weapon specific work.

General Camp Info: This coaching camp is an opportunity for coaches, either new or those transitioning from the old NCCP, to work through the CFF’s Aide-Moniteur Program. This program is part of the new NCCP as designed by the CFF, you can get more information from the CFF’s webpage, The candidate coaches will have learning sessions followed by work with participants at the general fencing camp: this will allow lots of practice coaching time for the candidate coaches. NBCoaches registered in this program must be at least 16 years of age

Accommodations: There are three options for accommodations:

  1. Full room and board at CampBoyle; Coaches will have there own shared accommodations (mixed gender bunk house) and will share in the camp meals with the general fencing camp participants.
  2. Full room as above but responsible for your own meals. The bunk house has its own kitchen.
  3. Being totally self sufficient as to accommodation and food.

Fees:Dependant on which option above is chosen.

  1. $500.00, this fee includes instruction, material, accommodation and meals.
  2. $400.00, this fee includes instruction, materials, and accommodations.
  3. $250.00, this fee includes instruction and materials. Each candidate coach is responsible for their own accommodation and meals.

Registrations after June 21st will be assessed a $100.00 late fee.

NO REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 13TH, 2007.

Arrival:Participants canarrive on July 22nd between 13:00 and 14:00, at the school.

Departure:Participants must depart between 11:00 and 12:00, at the school.
