Program Overview

1)Courses

Chinese LanguageLectures We have designed a short and intensive Elementary Chinese Language Program consisting of Chinese comprehension, listening, speaking. You can learn the basics of the standard Chinese language from our professional teaching staff who will guide you into performing your best based on your ability and interest.

Introduction to Chinese Culture The Chinese culture course consists of lectures and exciting activities such as Chinese Martial Arts, Calligraphy, Painting and Music, seminars with Chinese students, tours in Nanjing and visits to places of historical and cultural importance in Jiangsu province, such as Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, and Suzhou. These activities will help students to develop a better understanding on Chinese culture through watching, listening and directly experiencing China’s historical and cultural evolution.

Engineering Training The Engineering Training Center of NUAA has dedicated itself to the cultivation of the practical ability and innovative spirit of engineering students. We have a motto that says:”Listen and I’ll forget. Watch and I’ll remember. Do and I’ll understand”. TheEngineeringTrainingCenter provides students with the opportunity to have hands-on trainings for better understanding towards certain aspects of engineering.

Model Airplane Construction:As a traditional project that characterizes NUAA, creating model airplane incorporates the nature of science, knowledge, interest, competition and practice, since it plays an active role in building up students’ practical ability and improving students’ all-round development. The most interesting part, also the most challenging is that you will eventually fly the model airplane you made. So let’s see how much you are able to do!

※Program costs include tuition, accommodation and travel to historical and cultural

※Only double-rooms are available, all of which provides air-conditioning, cable television, broadband channels, and 24-hour hot water.

From NanjingLukouInternationalAirport. Take No.1 Airport Shuttle Bus and stop at Xihuamen (in Chinese) Station, then reach NUAA Ming Gugong campus by taxi.

From Nanjing Railway Station. Take No.17 Bus that is 60 meters away from the station exit and stop at Yu Daojie station near NUAA West gate or take a taxi to NUAA within 20 RMB.
