course information
All our sailing courses are delivered by qualified instructors, and use a fleet of Laser Pico dinghies, a popular boat for beginners. Start and finish times have been arranged to suit tides.
Course fee includes:
Lifejackets / Helmets / Cagoules
Safety boat cover during all courses
Classroom, Changing Rooms and Shower facilities available in LSYC Clubhouse
A limited supply of wetsuits is available
Although buoyancy aids are provided, all participants must be aged 9 or over and must be able to swim confidently in water above head height.

· Participants should be aware that all sporting activities carry an element of risk of personal injury & accept the risks associated with the activity of their choice.
· Under no circumstances can LSYC accept responsibility for loss of life, personal injury or illness. Further, LSYC cannot accept responsibility if the incidents mentioned occur because participants fail to carry out the instructions of LSYC instructors.
· Sailing is a weather dependent sport. LSYC cannot be responsible for sailing time lost due to inclement weather.
