Prize money awarded 1st – 10 entries, 2nd 11-15 entries, 3rd 16+

Entries will close 1 week before the competition. Entries will be accepted on a ‘first come first served’ basis. All entries must be paid for in advance of the competition day or a time will not be allocated.

Entries may be made over the phone, online via the Myerscough website and by post. Entries will only be accepted if payment is made at the time of entering. Entries on official entry forms should be returned to – Kelly Thompson, Myerscough International Arena, St. Michaels Rd, Bilsborrow, Preston, Lancashire, PR3 ORY. Cheques payable to “Myerscough College”.

It is the riders responsibility to make sure they are eligible to compete in our unaffiliated dressage series. See rule 4

Times are available :-

For weekend competitions on the Friday before the competition between 11am and 1pm on 01995 642115 or from web site .

For Wednesday competitions on the day before between 11am and 1pm on 01995 642115 or from web site

Please note if collecting times from web site it is vital that you e-mail confirmation that you have collected times.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. HATS TO CURRENT BSI STANDARD MUST BE WORN AND FASTENED AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED. BEAGLERS OR HATS WITHOUT CHIN STRAPS ARE NOT PERMITTED.

2. THE MANAGEMENT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE AN ENTRY WITHOUT GIVING REASON AND TO CANCEL ALTER THE TIME OF ANY CLASS, ALSO TO RUN ANY CLASS IN ANOTHER RING.

3. COMPETITORS HAVING ENTERED A CLASS ARE NOT ENTITLED TO A REFUND. WE CAN TRANSFER ENTRIES TO ANOTHER DATE, SHOULD THEY DECIDE TO WITHDRAW FOR ANY REASON AFTER THE CLOSE OF ENTRIES.

4. RIDERS WHO ARE/HAVE BEEN AFFILIATED TO BD/BE MUST DECLARE ON ENTERING AND ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE COMPETITIVELY AT THE LEVEL THEY ARE CURRENTLY RIDING AT OR ABOVE.

5. THE MANAGEMENT RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE ENTRIES IN ANY CLASS.

6. ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE (IF SPACE), HOWEVER THEY WILL CARRY A £2.00 SURCHARGE.

7. ENTRIES MADE OVER THE PHONE WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IF PAYMENT IS MADE AT THE TIME OF ENTERING BY CREDIT, DEBIT CARD, ETC.

8. ANYONE NOT COLLECTING TIMES BY 10AM THE FOLLOWING DAY MAY BE DEEMED TO HAVE WITHDRAWN AND MAY BE REPLACED BY A COMPETITOR FROM THE WAITING LIST.

9. OBJECTIONS MUST BE HANDED IN TO THE SECRETARY IN WRITING, WITHIN HALF AN HOUR OF THE EVENT, TOGETHER WITH A DEPOSIT OF £20. THE DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED IF THE SHOW OFFICIALS DECIDE THE OBJECTION IS NOT SUSTAINED.

10. LIABILITY – THE ORGANISERS OR ANYONE ACTING ON THEIR BEHALF ACCEPT NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR LOSS INJURY, OR DAMAGE TO ANY ANIMAL, PROPERTY, PERSONS, OR VEHICLE HOW SO EVER CAUSED.

11. THE JUDGES, STEWARDS, MYERSCOUGH COLLEGE STAFF AND OFFICIAL HELPER’S DECISION’S ARE FINAL.

12. STRICTLY NO LUNGEING.

13. HORSES SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED WHEN TETHERED.

14. CHILDREN MUST BE KEPT UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES. CHILDREN/PRAMS/DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE WORKING IN AREAS. ALL SPECTATORS TO USE THE VIEWING GALLERY.

15. ANY ENTRIES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE WHICH HAVE NOT PAID BY THE CLOSE OF ENTRIES WILL BE REMOVED AND NO TIME ALLOCATED.

16. ALL UNAFFILIATED DRESSAGE COMPETITIONS WILL BE HELD UNDER CURRENT BRITISH DRESSAGE RULES.

All tests and warming up will be on prepared surfaces– Refreshments available
