RESOLUTION NO. 99.11 was duly moved, seconded, and carried unanimously.

WHEREAS, the College has been approved for State share funding for CP 2127 Handicap Parking in the 1999 State Budget in the amount of $500,000, and

WHEREAS, the project has been reviewed and it is recommended that the scope of the project be amended to include other ADA compliance issues and that the title of the project be changed to “ADA Compliance – College-Wide,” be it therefore

RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the submission of the capital project (funded by the State) to obtain matching county funds, and be it further

RESOLVED, that the scope of the project be amended to include ADA compliance issues and that the title of the project be re-titled “ADA Compliance – College-Wide.”

WHEREAS, the College has been requested by the office of the county executive to submit capital budget and program requests in accordance with Article IV, Section A4-1, of the laws of Suffolk County, and

WHEREAS, the capital program requests listed as Attachment I have been solicited from the vice presidents, executive deans, physical plant directors and the president, and are submitted as Attachment I, be it therefore

RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approves the submission of capital projects in Attachment I, and authorizes the president, or his designee, to submit the projects for the 1999-2001 capital budget and program, and be it further

RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the submission and continuation of the existing authorized capital project (funded by both county and state), Attachment I, and be it further
