For those who are facing crises and those who need a hand with the basics, for those who have exhausted their resources and don’t know where to turn, for those who desperate and alone, for those who are looking for a little hope, the United Way 2-1-1 HELPLINE is here.
Last year, almost 29,000 Central Kentuckians reached out for help. The free, 24-hour-a-day United Way 2-1-1 HELPLINE was there to provide much-needed assistance. Our trained operators answered calls and provided guidance about basic needs, like food, utilities, and health care, rent assistance and help finding shelter.
Our call specialists on staff connect families with resources to meet their unique needs.
No matter what the need, United Way 2-1-1 is the number to call when you don’t know whom to call. It’s another way United Way is doing something about it for our community.
