This course focuses on some basic concepts of Business environment.
COURSE OBJECTIVE AND OUTCOME
All organizations must continuously scan the business environment and understand what is happening from this perspective. Such trends will create opportunities and threats that must be addressed in order for organizations to prosper. This course will provide the students an opportunity to learn and understand how business is conducted, the business environmental factors and issues that affect firms with their operations. The syllabus is designed to allow students to gain managerial skills to meet the challenges they will face in the global workplace.
This course will examine the relationship between business organizations, their functional areas, and the environments - social, political, legal and regulatory, and technological - that affect them.
