Subject: Hayden/Haddox
Michael,
I am a descendent of the Haddox's thru John W and Amanda Hayden Haddox, and I think we have about the same info on Thomas O and Isaac Hayden. I am including my family group sheets on these two men - there is some additional data that I have. Most of the Hayden information was given to me by Andrea Dietze, a cousin on the Haddox side.
And she has given me some info on the previous Hayden generations. However, I do not have any dates on John and Sarah Pullen Hayden (5 generations back from Thomas O.) If you have these dates or places of birth/death - I would appreciate receiving them. I do have 7 children listed for them - do you have this info. If not, I can send it.
Also, Nehemiah born ca 1648 has 7 children;
And, Samuel born 1683 has 9 children;
And, Nathaniel born 1755 - I only have 1 child and for Nathaniel born 1725 only one child also. Could you elaborate on whether there were more and any other data that you have on the 2 Nathaniels' and their children?
Here are my FGS on Isaac and Thomas O. Hayden. If you find any typos or incorrect information, I would appreciate it - if you would let me know. I am doing this for my descendents and I want it to be as accurate as possible.
Also, do you have the spouses/dates for Thomas O. Hayden's childrens?
Two things that I am also collecting for my descendents are a family health history and any photos that I can get of my ancestors. (Andrea has a photo that she thought might be one of the Hayden women - I think - not sure if she ever found out who it was.)
The reason for the health history is 6 out of 8 children in my fathers' siblings have had cancer, but differents types of cancer. Some families have a lot of heart problems, kidney disease, diabetes, lung problems, thyroid, etc. And I am curious to see if a pattern will ever develop. It doesn't have to be a long drawn out or scientific - just a tendency to any specific health
problems.
