Subdivide land with an approved development into two lotsin the Activity Centre Zone.

VicSmart is a simplified planning permit process. Only applications of certain classes are eligible for VicSmart.

Council has implemented Local VicSmart Provisions for Central Geelong. This allows applications under the Activity Centre Zone to be assessed against a different set of Decision Guidelines compared to the State VicSmart Provisions and provides for a change in information requirements for the application.

Please complete the following questionnaire and checklist which is to be submitted with your application including documentation required in the checklist at the front counter of Council’s office located at 100 Brougham Street, Geelong. Once you arrive at the Brougham Street office request to speak with the VicSmart Planner who will then check your documentation to ensure your application is not missing any information and that the information supplied is correct

Meeting with the VicSmart Planner is important prior to lodging as applications must have all of the required documentation set out in the checklist when lodging. If you do not supply all the documentation or correct documentation, your application will not be accepted and you will then be asked to submit at a later date once all information is prepared and ready.
