Sir,

The Board intends to provide Modular Furniture for Scholarship Unit at 7th Floor whereby 8 work stations and 1 Officer’s Chamber shall be provided as per the site plan. Interested agencies which are specialised in the field of Modular Furniture and having executed minimum 2-3 works of equivalent magnitude may apply on the prescribed format. An EMD of Rs.6000/- in the form of DD/BD payable to the Secretary, CBSE is to be annexed with the tender. Experience documents also be attached alongwith the tender. Sealed tenders complete in all respect must be submitted on or before 07.05.2010 upto 02:00 P.M. Quotations which are either late or incomplete shall be summarily rejected. The Secretary, CBSE reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The work shall be executed as per the approved drawing.
  2. Time is the essence of the contract, hence the work is to be completed within 30 days after the issue of the work order.
  3. The colour pattern shall be got approved through the Engineer Incharge.
  4. The joinery of the partitions & the work-stations has to be perfect inline, plumb & frames grouted wherever feasible.
  5. In case of any damage to the wall/ floor in the bldg., the agency shall have to make good the same.
  6. In case of delayed execution of work, penalty @ 1% per week shall be levied.
  7. No running/ advance payment shall be made to the agency. Final payment shall be released within 30 days of the submission of the bill.
  8. Security equivalent to 5% of the value of work shall be retained for a period of six months & released provided there is no deficiency noticed during the defect liability period.
  9. No T & P shall be issued by the Board.
  10. The agency must employ its bonafide, honest & well behaved workers. In case of any incident of theft, burglary, mischievous deeds, damage/ loss to the Board’s properly by the workers of the agency, it shall be solely responsible & the loss shall be borne by it.
  11. In case any dispute, Chairman CBSE shall be the sole Arbitrator & his decision shall be binding on both the parties.
