I was elected as the Vice President of FPTA on 24.09.2016. Under my jurisdiction, there were following associstions :
Ø Calcutta Paper Traders Association
Ø Bihar Paper Merchant Association
Ø Orissa Paper Dealers’ Association
Ø Mahakaushal Paper Dealers’ Association
I was actively involved in different social as well as administrative activities and fulfilled all the responsibilities vested upon me from time to time by local associations related to paper trade, details of which are as follows :
1. After coming back from FPTA conference, I have updated to our local traders about the information received from inaugural session and different business sessions.
2. One special meeting was organised at the executive committee meeting of my home association CPTA immediately after last conference where I interacted with the members on present as well as future market scenario.
3. Attended a seminar on GST organised by WBPTA at Calcutta Swimming club on 7th September 2016.
4. Attended the AGM of M.G.Road Byabosayee Samity and Baithakkhana Byabosayee Samity and delivered my speech on behalf of FPTA.
5. Participated in Bijoya - Deepawali get-together of CPTA & WBPTA at their office.
6. I had a constant touch with other affiliated associations as and when required and motivated them to participate in the MC meeting & conference of FPTA.
7. I am deeply involved into the various activities and movement under JOINT RECOVERY CELL which has been formed jointly with the members of CPTA & WBPTA to recover bad debts from the market.
8. On behalf of FPTA, I called an emergency meeting with the members of CPTA immediately after demonetisation to discuss the alarming situation in the market.
9. On behalf of FPTA, I participated in the inaugural ceremony of Trade Fair organised by Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry held on 23rd December 2016.
10. I am planning to invite our honourable FPTA President to the affiliated associations under my jurisdiction during the month of March or April 2017.
