study visit - youth work in rural areas
15th to 19th of May 2014 in Switzerland
From the 15th to 19th of May 2014, a study visit about youth work in rural areas will be organised by the European Youth in Action programme and the respective National Agencies of Switzerland, Denmark and Finland who will select and send six participants each.
The study visit will take place in Switzerland and bring together youth workers and other youth actors from rural areas in order to network and explore the possibilities of international cooperation. It shall offer them the possibility to explore the Swiss youth sector and exchange their experiences (chances and challenges) of youth work in rural areas. Several Swiss youth institutions and projects will be visited and acknowledged.
The travel, accommodation and training costs are entirely covered by the Youth in Action Programme. Participants have to be active in the youth sector and speak English. Interested persons will have to apply for their participation at their respective National Agencies.
