· Before filling out this form, carefully read the Study Abroad Honors Credit Directions, which can be found beside the link to this document on the Honors College website.
· On the application, please type the requested information into this Word Document, save a copy for your own records, print and sign the document, and then submit it by the end of the third week of classes in the semester following your study abroad trip.
· Along with the application form, please submit copy of your unofficial WKU transcripts (which you can print from TopNet), with all of your Honors credits highlighted

How many total Honors credit hours are you requesting?
In the space below, please list the course number, title, and total hours for each course you are requesting Honors credit for. For example: “ENG 380, Masterpieces of English Literature, 3 hrs., elective hours” Remember to list the course as it appears on your WKU transcript after transferring, which may be different than it was listed at the institution in which you studied.
If you took classes at an English-speaking institution in a non-English speaking country and wish to petition the Honors College for three additional hours of Honors credit, please submit an essay of at least 250 words in the space below explaining why your experience deserves additional honors credit. Your emphasis should be on your honors-worthy experiences with the native language(s) and culture(s) of the place you lived and studied.
