Student Session Proposal Form

The 2018 SER-AMTA Student conference committee is soliciting presentations. The top six most requested suggested umbrella groupings are suggested below. There were additional requests for more topics relating to: Ethics and Music Therapy, Assessment and Documentation, Private Practice and Business Skills, and more. If your proposal does not fit within the top six requested suggested umbrella groupings, please describe your category in “Other.” Submission for other topics will also be considered based on time availability and need.

Session length: Indicate your first choice of presentation length. You may be asked to change the length of your presentation to meet conference needs.

2.  Abstract (50 words or less for the conference program)

3.  List of audio-visual requirements and/or instruments needed. (Note: SER-AMTA will now provide LCD projectors, if desired. Presenters wishing to use overhead projectors must provide their own equipment.)

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS: FRIDAY, February 23rd, at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. You will receive an e-mail within 48 hours of your submission confirming receipt of your proposal. If you do not get a confirmation e-mail within 48 hours, please text Dr. Lorna E. Segall at 850-212-0353.

Presentations will be chosen by the program committee and presenters will be notified in mid-March.
