Go back to the LACC Library Homepage and this time click the “Periodical/Database Search” link.

You should see the “PERIODICALS AND DATABASES” screen similar to the miniature caption below:

Chose (click) the “Infotrac: Gale Group”
Magazines, Journals, Biography and Literature Resources link.

The “Infotrac” link leads you to an authentication page and Internet gateway where you are required to click the “Proceed” button.

Remember, if you were accessing this resource from a location other than campus, you would be asked for a username and password (provided on a separate handout).

After entering the Gale Group Web page with databases to which Los Angeles City College Library subscribes, you will see a menu of three databases:
Expanded Academic ASAP,
Biography Resource Center, and
Literature Resource Center.

Choose the “Expanded Academic ASAP” database and conduct a simple search on the subject “Human Rights” without the usage of any limiting options.
