ANNOUNCEMENTS:
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 8TH GRADERS:The window to request an intradistrict transfer is January 15- February 15. If you are thinking about attending a high school other than your high school of residence you must apply for an intradistrict transfer. If you do not fill out the paperwork within the time line you will not likely receive the transfer. See Mrs. Slick if you have a question.
ROSES FOR VALENTINE’S DAY: ASB will be selling wooden roses during lunch from Mon 2/5-Fri 2/9 (Or until we run out) and will deliver them on Valentine’s Day. $1 each or 5 for $3. Look for the table near the MPR and surprise a friend with one!
CLOTHING DRIVE: February is our month to collect clothing, shoes, towels, drapes, purses, even stuffed animals. All items will be recycled in some way from finding homes that need them to shredding for stuffing. Do some spring cleaning early! Bring all items to room C-3. On Fridays ASB kids will be in the big parking lot collecting.
6TH 7TH AND 8TH GRADE GIRLS: Come pick up a flyer at the student center to learn about how to join Kimberly Juniors of the Contemporary Club details on flyer!
7TH GRADERS: Did you receive an application for CJSF with your Honor Rollaward?Any 7th graders interested in joining CJSF for the Spring Semester should come to F-7 (Mr. Starr) on Tuesday (1/30) or Thursday (2/1) at the start of Lunch to get any questions answered regarding CJSF. You will also find out how to fill out the application and figure out if you qualify. CJSF is a great way to have fun with your friends and help our school and thecommunity. Don't wait, applications are due by Friday, Feb. 9th

Teen witch Cam has resigned herself to being a witch. Sort of. She’s willing to do small things, like magically help her boyfriend Devon get over his ongoing stage fright. But tangling with other witches is not on her wish list. Cam meets new student Poppy Jones who is a Type A, A+ Student of True Witchery. She’s got all the answers, and she’s delighted to tangle with a bunch of wicked witches. See how Cam and Poppy have to work together to help their moms and maybe even become friends along the way.
6TH GRADE SOCCER INTERMURALS: Get your teams together and be at the captains meeting in Miss. Kats room, E-6 on Monday February 5th. 7 players per team including the team captain. Grab your lunch and head to E-6, See you on the 5th.
HARKINS MOVIE TICKETS: PTSA is selling Harkins movie tickets every Thursday before and after school to help support music and drama boosters. Tickets are $8. Sales will take place at the east entrance gate between the main office and basketball courts.
