Students aged between 35-50 gained a lot more 1st degree than other age groups.

Students aged 26-34 gained more 2.2 degrees than the average.

The majority of students in the School of Medicine and Dentistry are aged between 18 and 25. SMD students have been separated from the rest of the College as they do not get award for their degree and it was creating a distortion in the figures.

12% of undergraduates at the College are mature students. Attainment is roughly in line with the age profile of students. There is a greater variation in mature student attainment than their younger counterparts gaining this award and a highest proportion of them gaining a 3rd or pass degree,
