Sarah called meeting to order at 11:21 a.m.

Minutes from October 22, 2012 and November 5, 2012 were motioned for approval.

Unanimous approval.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sarah reported that four applicants met the deadline for Media Coordinator and will be presented and voted on at our final General Meeting 12/3/12.

INTERIM PRESIDENT OF ONONDAGA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Meg applauded the group for having club interest out of the classroom.

She told us that she was appointed by the Board of Trustees to fill Dr. Sydow’s job on an interim basis.

The Fourteen Member search committee will be bringing finalists to the campus in February 2013 and she wants students to come to the applicant interviews.

She then opened for questions:

1.  Smoking issue---will watch what the County does-

2.  Delhi students—can they participate in Student Activities?

3.  Meal Plan—Why was it mandatory and will it be mandatory for non-residence hall students?

4.  Gordon Café-not open very long on nights or weekends

5.  Student discount for SRC Arena events?

6.  Health Center/Nurse on campus? Committee will make recommendation Spring 2013

Sarah Collins – New Student Leadership Coordinator

Sarah told us that she is in her fifth year here at Onondaga Community College. She will be making the transition to Student Association within the next week or so.

Sarah said that the procedure for food money has been raised from $150.00 to the entire start-up funding of $500.00 for your business meetings.

Hannah introduced a new process for Community Engagement Hours (handout). Please review with club members. At our last meeting on December 3, 2012, we will vote on the process.

Remy said his Entertainment Committee convenes every Wednesday in G-102 at 11 a.m. and is working on the Spring 2013 event calendar.

Ben is also planning student forums for the Spring 2013 semester.
