HIGH NOTE MUSIC FUNDRAISER

2012 - 2013

8th Grade Band; 7th/8th Grade Chorus;

7th/8th Grade Orchestra; Cantabile; Ellington Jazz Band

This Fall we will have our annual fundraiser to help the students finance this year’s exciting music trip to High Note Music Festival in May.

We will be selling in time for Thanksgiving, Pellman desserts. Locally baked in Lancaster County, Pellman’s has a delicious selection of generously sized gourmet cheesecakes, pies, and cakes. Students will earn $7.00 for each dessert sold.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

·  High Note Music Festival is May 17, 2013. Cost of the trip for students will be approximately $90.00. Cost for parent chaperones: $29.00 Trip cost includes: Charter Coach transportation, Adjudication Fees, Dorney Park Admission Ticket.

·  PELLMAN DESSERTS FUNDRAISER: October 8 – 24, 2012

·  Orders are due into Mr. Pearlberg or Mrs. Van Druff by October 24, 2012

·  Delivery to Strath Haven Middle School on Friday, November 9, 2012

PLEASE NOTE: Pellman Desserts are delivered FROZEN and must be picked up from Strath Haven on November 9th. For important food handling reasons, you must be able to deliver desserts to your customers on the delivery date or keep them frozen until you are able to deliver them.

When you are selling, please remember:

1. For your safety, sell only to people you know. Get a phone number from each customer so you can contact them for delivery

2. Collect all payments at the time of the order.

3. We prefer one check per order if possible. Please have your customers pay you, then have your parents write one check for the entire order.

4. Remind your customers that the Pellman desserts are frozen and must be delivered to them on November 9th, in time for Thanksgiving.

This is a great fundraiser and it offers you the opportunity to earn a significant portion of your cost of the High Note Music Festival. All profit you earn through this fundraiser will be credited to your INDIVIDUAL trip account.

DESSERT CHOICES:

1. Pre-Cut Cheesecake Choices 14 slices, 60 oz.: We have taken our four most popular cheesecake flavors and created Cheesecake Choices. The 14 slices of cheesecake include 4 plain, 4 chocolate chip, 3 raspberry, and 3 strawberry swirl.

2. Pre-Cut Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake 14 slices, 60 oz.: This creamy cheesecake is bursting with pockets of strawberry puree, topped with a decorative design and complemented by a chocolate cookie crumb crust.

3. Pre-Cut Plain Cheesecake (large) 14 slices, 60 oz.: New York style cheesecake as it should be. A velvety smooth body of fresh cream cheese and sour cream is set in a real graham cracker crust and dusted with graham cracker crumbs. Perfection!

4. Plain Cheesecake (small) unsliced 37 oz.: All the goodness of our cheesecake in a smaller size for daintier appetites. A velvety smooth body of fresh cream cheese and sour cream is set in a real graham cracker crust and dusted with graham cracker crumbs.

5. Peanut Butter Cup Triple Chocolate Cake, 66 oz.: Natural creamy peanut butter frosting surrounds four layers of moist, densely textured chocolate cake. Chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate drizzle add just the right finishing touch to the richest of chocolate cakes.

6. Carrot Cake, 28 oz.: A moist single layer cake brimming with grated carrots, real pineapple, and chopped walnuts, spiced with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, and topped with our own cream cheese icing.

7. Carrot Cake, 60 oz.; A moist double layer cake brimming with grated carrots, real pineapple, and chopped walnuts, spiced with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, and smothered with our own cream cheese icing.

8. Peanut Butter Pie, 40 oz.: This peanut lover’s delight starts with a chocolate crumb crust covered with a thin blanket of dark chocolate, which cradles a delicious blend of cream cheese, whipped cream and real peanut butter. A drizzle of chocolate and sprinkle of peanuts completes this treat.

9. Pecan Pie, 32 oz.: A flaky dough crust packed with pecans in a dark rich syrup, but not excessively sweet.

10. Key Lime Pie, 34 oz. A tart, creamy filling made with Key West Lime Juice direct from Florida with no artificial colors, all nestled in a flaky dough crust.

11. Chocolate Mousse Pie, 32 oz.: Mountains of our deliciously light chocolate mousse rest on a chocolate cookie crust. A generous sprinkle of mini-gourmet chocolate curls tops this taste adventure.

12. Pumpkin Spice Cake, 60 oz.: This double layer cake is baked with real pumpkin, spiced with cinnamon and ginger. It is covered and decorated with our own cream cheese icing, and topped with a caramel swirl. A delightful autumn treat that will please everyone.

13. Apple Walnut Crumb Cake, 32 oz.: Spice is nice in this deliciously moist cake featuring diced apples, English walnuts, cinnamon and nutmeg. Perfect as a dessert or breakfast cake. It’s even better warmed and served with ice cream or whipped cream.
