Goal I - Enhance the excellence and distinctiveness of the University’s academic programs:

I.A.1 / Library Teaching Excellence Collection: Encourage a faculty representative when requested from AA; motivate faculty to submit materials, including online ones. / Dean, Faculty / Dr. Lomax has graciously volunteered to serve as Getty Representative to Heterick Library/Provost.
1.A.2 / Faculty Scholarship Funding: a) Be judicious stewards of funding, rotating opportunities among faculty. Collaborate with AA on Scholar-Teacher workloads (4/3, 3/3). Brainstorm course release reduction ideas elsewhere.

Student Advisory Board has stated a main goal and concern of theirsis the LACK of college identity(no prompting from us). They want to host a T-Shirt design and slogan contest to begin to generate a college identity.
